Lucinda Currell is an artist who lives in Sydney on the lands of the Cammeraygal People. Her work focuses on her witness and imaginings of place and the feelings of care it arouses. She works in a wide range of media, including drawing, printmaking, painting, animation and experimental video.  

She completed her BFA (2019) and MFA (2022) degrees at the Lebanese University’s Institute of Fine Arts. Lucinda was a scholarship holder at the Beirut Printmaking Studio (2022) and was a resident at Ashkal Alwan (2023). She also holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Melbourne in English and Classics (2004) and has undertaken several online classes at the Royal Drawing School, London (2021-25).


Lucinda has exhibited in group print shows in Beirut, Paris, and Sydney. She is a member of Perienne Christian’s Creativity Cafe.
