I acknowledge the Cammeraygal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work, and I pay respect to their Elders past and present. This was and will always be Aboriginal land.

Lucinda Currell is a visual artist based in Sydney, Australia. Her work focuses on her witness and imaginings of place and the feelings of care it arouses. She makes drawings, prints, paintings, animations and experimental videos. 

Lucinda completed her BFA (2019) and MFA (2022) degrees at the Lebanese University Institute of Fine Arts and BA (Hons) degree in English and Classics (2004) at the University of Melbourne. She was a scholarship holder at the Beirut Printmaking Studio (2022) and a resident at Ashkal Alwan (2023). Since March 2025, Lucinda has been a printmaker assistant for master printmaker Michael Kempson at Cicada Press.

Lucinda has exhibited in group shows in Beirut, Paris, and Sydney.
